Choose with Confidence

We often look back, convinced we know exactly how things could have been better. But the reality is, even with perfect knowledge, things might have turned out worse. Life’s a gamble.

Instead of dwelling on the past, use those lessons to inform your decisions today. Don’t obsess over specific outcomes – focus on sharpening your decision-making tools.

Sometimes, the “right” choice is simply choosing. If you hesitate, life (or other people) will make the choice for you.

Making decisions requires courage. So take care of yourself. Give yourself the tools and resources you need to navigate life’s choices with confidence.

Don’t go it alone. Find a mentor, join a support group, or connect with people who’ve faced similar choices. Sharing experiences and processes can be incredibly valuable.

ACTION: Take some time to write about your decision. List each option you’re considering, and then read them aloud (to yourself and maybe even a trusted friend, mentor, therapist or support group).   Notice how your body reacts to each choice.  Does one option make you feel excited and energized while another creates a pit in your stomach?
