Manifest!

I’ve found that using these simple sentence starters helps me become more conscious of myself:

  • I wish…
  • I hope…
  • I admit…

By completing these prompts, I can uncover what I truly want and need, leading to a deeper understanding of who I am.

Why is this important? When faced with a difficult decision, I can revisit my completed sentences. This guides me towards choices that align better with how I want to live.

For example:

  • I wish I had more time for… (insert desired activity)
  • I hope to cultivate more… (positive quality)
  • I admit I struggle with… (unwanted habit)

These reflections don’t mean immediate solutions. I won’t win the lottery just by wishing for it. Distancing myself from a toxic person takes more than just a wish. And quitting my coffee habit entirely might not be the answer either.

However, by understanding my desires and challenges, I can make small adjustments throughout my day. These shifts gradually move me towards the life I truly desire.

ACTION: Take a moment and write down one of these stem sentences. Complete it with one or more honest thoughts. This is not a promise, but an exploration of your mind. Let your thoughts flow freely and see where they lead you.
