All of these decisions turn into action (or inaction) and create a life; every time I repeat a decision, it solidifies my habit. Don’t leave my home with enough time to get there and handle unexpected delays? I’m a late person.
I don’t WANT to be a late person but if I keep repeating habits that make me late, that becomes who I am.
How do I change to be the person I want to be? Repeat the actions that make me that person.
A lot of repeated actions created the person I am now. To adjust to the new habits that I want to adapt, first, I need to notice the habits that work against my goal.
Then I can stop repeating the habit that puts friction between me and my goals and replace them with the ones that match the person I want to become.
ACTION: Today, when you face a tough decision, ask yourself: “Which choice, if I made it repeatedly, would move me closer to the life I want?
