Celebrate Times!

It’s time to celebrate! I don’t want to wait until the end of the week, a big goal, or even a milestone birthday. I need to celebrate along the way.

There are many tasks to complete in order to reach a big goal, and daily chores to tackle in order to create the life I want. I’m practicing celebrating the small wins that get me closer to my dreams.

That doesn’t mean I need to spend a lot of money rewarding myself or throw a party every time I throw out the garbage.

Sometimes it means, that when I cross off a task on my list that was challenging to me, I do a little shimmy shake for myself in my seat to celebrate pushing through the discomfort to take on the task. Or it means that when I get somewhere on time I whisper “good job” to myself to note that I am breaking the bad habit of being late often.

As I practice with small celebrations, I find myself needing less praise from other people by getting it from myself.

ACTION: Find something to celebrate today. Whether it’s remembering to take your vitamins or preparing a warm meal, give yourself some credit for a small win.
